DIY Hibiscus Face Mask Recipe
Ingredients
Hibiscus flowers (dried or fresh)
Water
Honey (optional)
Yogurt or Aloe Vera gel (optional)
How to Prepare?
1. Prepare the Hibiscus Infusion:
Boil water in a pot.
Add dried hibiscus flowers to the boiling water.
Let it simmer for 5-10 minutes until the water turns deep red.
Strain the mixture to remove the hibiscus petals, leaving behind the infused water.
2. Mixing the Mask:
Allow the hibiscus infusion to cool down to room temperature.
Transfer the infused water into a bowl.
If desired, add a teaspoon of honey for its moisturizing properties.
For additional nourishment, you can include a tablespoon of yogurt or aloe vera gel.
Mix the ingredients thoroughly until you achieve a smooth consistency.
3. Application:
Use a mild cleanser on your face to get rid of any junk or pollutants.
Dry your skin using a fresh towel.
Using clean fingertips or a brush, apply the hibiscus mask evenly onto your face and neck, avoiding the eye area.
